Mini has unveiled its all-new electric Mini Countryman, which is not only the brand’s first EV to be produced in Germany but also the largest model in Mini’s updated lineup.

Key features of the new electric Mini Countryman:
Size: The new Countryman measures 174.5 inches (4,433 mm) in length, 72.5 inches (1,843 mm) in width, and 65.1 inches (1,656 mm) in height, making it larger than its predecessor.
Power Options: It comes in two power versions. The Countryman E features a front-mounted electric motor producing 201 horsepower (150 kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque, with a WLTP-rated range of 287 miles (462 km). The Countryman SE ALL4 offers a combined 308 hp and 364 lb-ft (494 Nm) of torque through a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with a range of 269 miles (433 km).

Charging: Both models can charge at up to 22 kW with AC power and up to 130 kW at DC fast-charging stations.
Performance: The SE ALL4 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.6 seconds, while the E model achieves the same in 8.6 seconds.
Design: The new model features a refreshed design with an octagonal grille integrating radar for Level 2 driving assistance. Configurable LED daytime running lights offer three lighting signatures. A redesigned C-pillar and rims up to 20 inches add to its distinctive look.

Interior: Inside, it boasts a curved dashboard with textile surfaces on some trim levels and a 9.44-inch OLED center screen running Mini’s Operating System 9. Voice commands are possible through the “Hey Mini” prompt or a steering wheel button.
Practicality: The rear seats can be adjusted in length by up to 5 inches (130 mm), increasing legroom or luggage space. The trunk offers 460 liters of cargo volume, expandable to 1,450 liters by folding the rear seats. An optional electrically retractable and extendable trailer adds practicality.

Production: The new Countryman will be produced in Germany at BMW Group’s Leipzig factory, with production set to begin later this year.
The electric Mini Countryman will debut alongside the Mini Cooper EV at the IAA Munich auto show, starting on September 5, 2023. This introduction marks Mini’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup, catering to a wider range of customers with a larger electric model.
